The #3DPrinted #ElectricCar that can charge itself off a #SolarPowered house

Helping hand: The pad creates a two-way flow of energy between the car and the house. Depending which needs the power more, the car's battery can help power the house during peak periods, or the house can help charge the car's battery

The eco-friendly vehicle was built using newly-developed large-scale #3DPrinting technology, and was designed to work together with an equally environmentally-friendly house.

Both the car and the house were created as part of an initiative by the #US Department of Energy’s #ORNL, in #Tennessee.
